Re: I Love the 90's

Too late and I'm too out of it to post pictures but I did love MTVs Inaugural Ball when Clinton got elected and we were actually a happy nation. U2 Members Adam Clayton and Larry Mullens joined R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe and Mike Mills on the U2 song One. Oh and Stipe and 10,000 Maniacs on stage was great.

Okay, I'm fallling asleep. Gttta go to slep...

I remember the Dennis Miller joke about Stevie Nicks at the Inaug: "She's so fat they're gonna make her an honorary member of Heart"

!993 was a great year for music, I was in a band and the music scene was really healthy at the time, we had all the Seattle Bands putting out some great songs and everyone else was getting into the act as well...
great memories!

Hmmm, maybe Tim, I haven't heard much of the Seattle bands lately....I don't know if the posies are still going or not....Liked the Screaming Trees as well but they're probably defunct as well.
Hey, what ever became of Urge Overkill from Chicago?...they were great!

Screaming Trees are defunct as far as I can tell since Mark Lanegan has been putting out music with the Mark Langan Band. Great stuff too. Check out Methamphetamine Blues. :)
