As a kid, I thought I've Just Seen A Face was The Monkees. I was probably 15 or so when I learned it's The Beatles.

On a side note, after 22+ years of marriage, I found out last week that The Missus has always thought Hard Luck Woman was Rod Stewart.

Kind of embarrassing, what with my obsession of all things music, you know?:uh:

I used to think that The Stroke was by REO Speedwagon :bonk: I had never heard ANY of REO Speedwagons' or any other of Billy Squire's songs before then XD. It all started when I watched Billy Madison (for the 15th time), with the scene where he pulls up in the Pontiac Fire Bird with The Stroke blasting and he shows off his REO Speedwagon shirt XD... I guess it just made sense at the time XD.

I always think of Steve Gibbons when I hear Biff Byford of Saxon. Saxon were a good band around the time of Wheels of Steel and Byford is a better singer than the Oliver-Dawson vocalists.
