Whats upp yall Ive been getting into rock this year and I feel rock is apart of my soul…….been listening to more micheal bolton…mainly his band blackjack its pretty good give it a listen. my personal fav is heart of stone. I also love XYZ ive been getting more into hair metal rock but I love the classic rock genre in general… I love everything about the 80z and I think there female rock bands should be more popularized (such as vixen.. and im currently getting into more lol coming from a female.) also my user is a reference to jackie blue from the ozark dare devils!!

Hi and welcome. With regards to female rock bands their are plenty around these days but with myself being an old guy into heavy rock from the 1970s & 1980s I can only name a few such female rock bands and one of which was from my country of England named Girls School they were a 4-piece rock band and rose to fame (in the UK) as being part of the NWOBHM phenomenon in the UK back around 1979-81 and were still around in the 1980s and maybe the 1990s?. Also from the USA Lita Ford who plays electric guitar very well and is still around and was once a member of The Runaways an all female rock band back in the 1970s also a very early all female rock band named Fanny again another 4-piece rock band from the USA and also their is the German 'heavy metal goddess' named Doro Pesch and she's still around in Europe and back in the 1980s she had a great heavy rock band named Warlock that released several really good albums with the first two in particular being excellent albums the first album was called Burning the Witches and the second was called Hellbound try and check them two albums out if you can..

Their is also an American female 'guitar shredder' from the 1980s who's name I currently have forgotten but she plays (or played) electric guitar at 1.000 mph!!.
