i recently bought "electric ladyland" by the jimi hendrix experience cd
its the nude cover it cost me $65 aud
according to wikipedia, the hendrix estate has asked that no more nude cover editions be released.

should i leave it in its plastic?
and after i looked on amazon i noticed that they have some nude cover editions for well under 50 bucks new. so whats so special about the 65 buck edition.

i once owned the double album vinyl version... i wish i hadn't gone all christian fundamentalist and brokjen it

i can't tell ..its still in the plastic, its not encased in a plastic cd case, its just a sleeve sealed in plastic

I buy Cds to play them. If the plastic case is resealable, why don't you take it out, download it, then put it back?

If it's still in wrapped, bring it back and if he won't refund you, give him a big **** you and tell him you're done spending money there.
