Well he has just bought the Fiona Apple 'The Idler Wheel' cd and he listens to it all the time. We have very similar music taste and enjoy listening to a wide variety of music.

Me and my girlfriend both like very similar stuff which is very very awesome. Due to constantly finding new music its hard to pick out 5 faves for her (or myself for that matter) so il pick 5 of the more recent tracks that I know she thought were amazing.
