I agree with you. Otis Rush and Freddie King's blues were played by John Mayall and Eric Clapton in this awesome album, a masterpiece:

Streetwalkers - Downtown Flyers(1975): hard rock; Roger Chapman and John Whitney formed this band after the fall of Family. Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden drummed on all three Streetwalkers' albums.

Ursa Major - Ursa Major(1972): hard rock/heavy psych: Both albums feature Dick Wagner that latter went onto Alice Cooper.
