The Du discography is an RnR core sample, which strata neatly exhibits a progression from hard punk to near-elegant post punk by Warehouse. Were it not for Mould's magnificent and continuing solo work, the band's abrupt end after reaching that peak would've been a greater loss of potential than it is.

It's been awhile since I have listened to this, which may or may not make my perspective a bit clearer or maybe more objective... doesn't matter much really. The red grape may be assisting a bit with my enthusiasm, but I gotsta say, it is an amazing thing to hear.

The beginning of 1967... this release came onto the scene like a wild animal, a beast; the pop world was clearly overtaken by a graceful, unnatural thing... the peace frog's time.
