Coming along nicely. Into the 80s era now. Nice to go through a discography every now and then in a daily binge especially one as large as what Deep Purple has.

its folky/country, all the things most associate with Mr.Young...
album was recorded in Nashville...
according to the "shakey" biography he would write a song a night in his motel and present it to the band to record the following day...
lots on imagery in the lyrics...
without a doubt one of his best albums!

I don't even think they have a bad album tbh, maybe some weaker stuff like Slaves and Masters but even that was decent. Once Steve Morse joined the band their material got strong again.
