One of the most talented bass players and composers I can drop
into the disc transport at anytime. Listening to Concerto for Bass...

Eberhard Weber - bass
Paul McCandless - oboe, English horn, bass clarinet, soprano saxophone (String Cheese Incident, Leftover Salmon, Bela Fleck)
Rainer Brüninghaus - piano, keyboards (Weber's right hand man, Garbarek's too--brilliant, beautiful ivory strokes)
Michael Di Pasqua - drums, percussion

Remember those cool record shops, you know, the ones where
the folks actutally knew something about lots of music, could steer
your mind full of mush to the right bin. The one full of imports
you'd never heard of. This is one of those, brilliant hash out
of frenetic psychedelic fusion with Brian Godding laying down
God-like guitar lines. Side two has the really good stuff... 1977.
