Kudos to one of IB's best studio albums, solid throughout.

Two players were brought in for this to help the band head in a
different direction. Later they moved on to form Captain Beyond.
Rhino was the guitarist, bassist Lee Dorman that played on both.
On a side note Rod Evans from Deep Purple and the drummer from
Johnny Winter And played drums for Capt Beyond to fill out the band,
a massive performance from all too. There are many similarities
between Metamorphosis and CB's first lp.

You're absolutely right about the similarities. Never knew the common history of the bands so I never played the two albums back-to-back before. Interesting

I've been listening to a lot of Moody Blues lately because my girlfriend fell in love with Nights in White Satin when I had my mixed 1960s playlist going and she demanded that I start playing my albums lol.

Nothing wrong with that @Cadleson. They're an excellent band
