I think this is the first time I have seen Eels mentoned here. I have got the Beautiful Freak album, but would like to get Souljacker, which is probably better. I first came across Eels on Later with Jools Holland, around the Souljacker time, and the drummer, who ever he was, really stood out. Jools Holland made a point of mentioning him too.

I always liked A Small Victory by Faith No More, but I only recently stumbled across this EP of remixes, from 1992, and it's surprisingly good:

Talking of surprisingly good, I had never heard of Klaus Schubert, but he can play guitar and his list of lead singers is like a who's who, including Joe Lynn Turner, Doogie White and Tony Martin. Biff Byford gives some of the best performances of his life, so if you are a Saxon fan, you should hear at least part of this album.

I was never a big Slade fan, but I liked them when they became Americanised. Sadly it didn't last long. Radio Wall of Sound is one of the best things they ever did and it came when the band was really over. Apparently, it was virtually a Jim Lea solo track and the band thought it was weak. It makes me wonder what his solo album is like?

^^Would melt if I visited Aus in the summer.;)

We go from -40 to almost +40 Celsius in the summer, everything here is designed and built with that in mind, having our infrastructure fail is not an option.

North nice pictures, we've got quite a bit more snow than you do right now but it's nice to have company. I don't mind winter, just wished it was a month shorter.

+1 Celsius today, another mess to deal with by next week supposed to hit -27 Celsius. Gotta luv the prairies to live here.
