Re: What's Your Weather? Part II

-16 Celsius, more snow fell overnight so I'll be shoveling again in a couple hours. The roads here are the worst I've seen in 20 years, a solid sheet of ice that's compacted from all the traffic, and in this County that I live in they are beyond pitiful when it comes to doing anything about it.:mad

Fort Saskatchewan would have all the major intersections and roads plowed and sanded the day after the freezing rain and then the blizzard hit.

I give Sherwood Park a Flaming F-,,,people actually die when the roads are this bad and to hell with the "drive at your own risk" BS they tell you, try phoning in to work when this happens two or three days in a row and you'll be out of a job so you have to take your life in your hands and venture onto the roads.

In a word, this is Bean Counters and politicians simply deciding the value of a human life is less than the money required to do a good job maintaining the roads, after all we only get this kind of storm early in winter or late spring.

I am not driving anywhere for the next two days except to get gas and groceries.

Liked the spotlight Kid and the instumental Vielleicht das Nachste Mal off Difficult to cure. Album fades away substantially compared to the stellar earlier albums. Still pretty decent album overall.

Listening to.

Re: Post your latest CD/DVD/Vinyl/Cassette purchases here!

Abraxas, that's a weird and wonderful album.

Thanks electric funeral. Now if only I could truely enjoy it. I got a dud; could'nt hear the vocals and the intro to track #4 is practically non-existant unless you turn the volume up on full blast but then you risk your hearing when the drums kick in. ugh. Now I gotta make a return. :mad

Neutral milk hotel-In the aeroplane over the sea

Not a usual rock record. Pretty serious indie album from late 90s inspired by the diary of Anne Frank. Very daring indie album and they did a great job.
