From Yahoo News: "Voters in Washington and Colorado legalize recreational marijuana"

Hmmm, wonder how long that will last before the feds step in and ruin their party.

The feds will use tax dollars to squash democracy and stop it.

In the colonies they started shooting because of a tax on their tea. If the founding fathers knew weed was illegal they would start blasting holes in everyone who had that point of view until we were free to smoke it (as they did).

People were required to grow hemp back then. It grew freely in all 50 states.

It could happen again easily. Even now California makes more weed than the state can smoke and sells to all the other states.

Good for Colorado and Washington. I think Oregon voted but they must have lost. **** prohibition, yay legalization. (America is a free country, leave non violent smokers alone and legalize their plant for ****s sake)

We legalized personal amounts of Pot years ago, Bush/Cheney threatened us with utter economic destruction if we didn't repeal the legislation.

So yeah as Berserker said it will be quashed by the Feds, the irony there is not about Pot being the "Demon Spawn" that leads to destruction of civilization any longer, but there are Billions of dollars in profits being made by corporations who build penitentiaries to house criminals, and a good percentage of those behind bars biggest crime was smoking a joint.:wtf:

Re: What Are You Drinking Right Now?

^^That's what I thought...thanks for getting back to me.:hab:

Okay I polished off a whole bottle of that Californian Cabernet last night, don't feel too bad this morning surprisingly...:D...and it was excellent!

Probably the best California Cab I've ever tasted, and for $14 a bottle it's really a great value. I will stop and pick up a few bottles today, 2 to drink now and 2 to keep for a few years.

Pot, unless it's being used for medicinal purposes, is a waste of money. Makes you high, sure. But when you come down, what have you got? No high, and less money.

That's just how I see it.

Re: What's Your Weather? Part II

^^Great pictures of an absolute Monster of a weather system Jake. They knew this was going to be one for the ages.

Another snowstorm right now, heavy wet snow, might melt but right now it's just making things messy. Have to drive to the city in an hour, shouldn't be that bad rush hour will be over.

+1 Celsius, windy and snowing...winter is here.
