I think many people didn't realise just how good a singer she was (and still is) back when she started out. I didn't mind her pop singles, but I didn't start paying real attention to her until she disappeared from the spotlight and started releasing less commercial albums. Her most recent, "Love and Hate" is a superb album and, as @joker1961 mentioned, check out Trigger Hippy, where she is the lead singer and Steve Gorman (ex-Black Crowes) is on drums. Their debut album was one of my favourite releases of 2014. I believe they are currently working on a new album.

I surely hope there working on a new album :woot::woot::woot:

The Lollipops (Denmark)/The Complete 1963-31.8.1966 Pop Rock/Barbed Wire
The Lollipops was formed in 1960 by 3 boys from Copenhagen, the brothers Torben Lundgreen, Jørgen Lundgreen and their cousin Poul Petersen when they was 10-9-12 years old. They made a long string of hits during the sixties that made them popular in Scandinavia, Germany and The Netherlands. They are most known for their version of Tim Hardin's song The Lady Came From Baltimore. They re-wrote it and it got the title Sussy Moore and they made it to a megahit. Also they made their version of Tim Hardin's song Reason To Believe later. But mostly they wrote and composed their own songs and had lots of success with what they did. They broke up in 1975.
