This genre and I are pretty alien to one another: I culled a few Hank Sr. titles from my parents' vinyl, but have never purchased anything. Until now. I feel like Sarah slashed contemporary country with a straight razor then kicked it down the basement steps. Maybe it's not really country at all, though she sings a lot about drinking in a twangy voice.
