deerwan Ram Jam is mostly famous for their cover of Black Betty, but are very overshadowed and relatively unknown in other regards.
It's great. It's solely blues, of course, and it really does blend the skills of each member well. It's more or less a groovin' album, as they seemed to be very laid back and simply wanted to enjoy making music. Very casual, but you can tell that they've put much effort into this one, which is all appealing. They are blues at heart, after all. It's very serene and great to see them revisiting their roots.
