Interesting! Discogs has the group listed here, but only lists one member while showing a photo of several people:Very strange lp......is listed on Prog Rock Archives.....had to look that one up.
The artist is called Alpha lll (Amir Cantusio)...he has 32 lps listed on PA.
I listened on you tube. ..sounds like a soundtrack to a horror film ..sort of like some of Goblins' music.
Definitely an obscure one.
As you said Amir or as they call him Amyr Cantusio Jr. is also a member of Alpha III which has a ton of recordings and is said to be group and solo. And also a member of Kanx (another solo project maybe?).
Yeah, now that you mention it, the music does sound a bit like Goblin. But it's definitely more of a cohesive album than one of their soundtracks, that tends to jump around genres dictated by the needs of the film. It has a bit of mid-period Pink Floyd, basically More and Obscured By Clouds.
