The last song on the lp sums it up....'It's a Sad Affair'.
Not trying to pick on Peter but his best songs and guitar work was with Humble Pie and maybe his first 2 solo lps. Even 'Frampton Comes Alive' was radio fodder for the masses.
I have no idea why he left Pie , but I assume he and Marriott didnt see eye to eye on the direction of the band.
