I'm a huge fan of Matthew Sweet.
He is probably my 2nd favourite male artist behind Bowie.
I have a big mission to buy all the Import releases of Matthew's albums.
I have to complete his catalogue.
I only own 6 of his albums, there are many more to buy.
I've heard some of his more recent material on Spotify which sounds good.
Though, I'm the type of music fan that has to own the tangible CD.
I'm 62 and a traditional, old school music collector.

A fellow musician friend of mine said that people he knows think that Matthew Sweet is 'the bees' knees'.

I have many favourite songs by Matthew, though one that rises to the top is "Falling" from the "Altered Beast" album (1983)

Generally I don’t much enjoy anything Matthew Sweet recorded beyond his Living Things album. From 1991 through 1995, those albums and E.P. are really great.
I listened to Sunshine Lies and Living Things moments ago. These albums are when I began to lose interest.
I have seen Matthew Sweet perform live at least five times; four of those times with my brother.
