At the time of writing this post THE GROUNDHOGS circa 1984 and the RAZORS EDGE cd. The band on this recording are basically a three piece power trio lead by Tony McPhee an original founding member of The Groundhogs back in 1962 on electric guitar and guitar effects and vocals with Alan Fish on bass and Mick Kirton on drums and was recorded in London at the recording studios in a back street near to Waterloo station and is basically a hard blues/rock recording that maybe called blues/metal in recent years with all three guys 'dressing down' in faded denim jackets and 80s style tight jeans...

"Played LOUD through portable earphones it 'blows ya f**king head off!!!"

I'm not familiar with this Neil Young album.
I do know that Neil experimented with some bizarre genre styles, especially in the 80's.
I heard some tunes on Radio JJJ FM Australia in 1994, so I went out & bought SLEEPS WITH ANGELS.
When I'm in the right mood, (melancholy), I really immerse myself in the tunes of this album.
One of the best LIVE albums in music history is WELD.
I never bought RUST NEVER SLEEPS, I always thought it was weak.
WELD is very strong & powerful.

In 1985, I saw Neil & Crazy Horse at Sydney's Entertainment Centre ( which has been demolished )
Neil played over an hour of acoustic tunes, which nearly put us to sleep ( literally )
Then after intermission, where a few drinks were imbibed, Neil & Crazy Horse proceeded to blow the back wall off the building.
They played 'like a Uriah Heep album title', " Very Heavy, Very Humble "
Most people only know Neil's delicate acoustic Guitar work.
I regard him in THE TOP 10 Electric Guitarists of all time.

I have it on cd but have never listened to it also I have BLONDES HAVE MORE FUN and again I have never listened to it except DO YA THINK I'M SEXY which was released as a single back in 1978. Apparently, this was Rod's 'disco album' from the late 1970s.
