One of the two albums that was available on cd in the UK back in the 1990s along with Tales Of The Unexpected from the band and that was it. From memory the live album (above) has a pretty good heavy version of Hendrix's Purple Haze and maybe Chuck Berry's Johnny B. Goode is also included although I haven't heard the album for maybe 20-25 years?.

RORY GALLAGHER LIVE IN EUROPE 1971

I recall reading that apparently Bob Dylan had contacted either Rory personally or Rory's brother Donal who managed Rory about covering Rory's I Could Of Had Religion that is on this album (I don't think Rory ever recorded a studio version of the song?) but Rory sadly died in June 1995 after his operation when he was in recovery. Also I read that amongst the get well messages Rory received after his operation was a message from Bob Dylan wishing him well.
