saw Lizzy twice..and Graham Parker supported them..they were shit hot too!
I was living away when Phil gigged the last night at The Hope & Anchor...the gig was brilliant. Rat scabies on drums, Brian Eno, Scott and Gary and lots more...wonder if it was filmed? The Dire Ear Band they were billed as...i think...

Yeah I wouldn't mind hearing something of the Thin Lizzy/Sex Pistols or Greedy Bastards as they called themsleves back in 1978/79.

Phil Lynott, Scot Gorham, Brian Downy, Steve Jones & Paul Cook.

I believe they released a Christmas single at Christmas 1978 but nothing else was released I don't think?.

Jimmy Bain and Chris Spedding helped out also with Brian Downey etc...they did a couple of singles apart from Merry Jingle-
Because of the Birmingham/ West Midlands connection - Bev Bevan and Roy Wood did some excellent gigs with Phil.
