As good as Scepter is I've found they kept getting better each release.

I'm with you on that. Love the early stuff but don't care for the core vocal style they have employed on the last couple of albums.
Ancients is classic though.

If by core it means hardcore then they have slight bits of it but tbh they make the newest albums that much more awesome. Core doesn't automatically make something bad imo.

No, no, no.. it's is not bad music that way at all. I think it's more about the meaning of the songs, the go and the ears that are listening to it. And by the way...the 'Abysmal Thresholds' album is a good one and worth listening to!
