@Cadleson Loved seeing Little Feat up there! Took me back to 1976, The Who did a football stadium tour called Who Put The Boot In (narf narf). I went to the gig at Celtic Park in Glasgow. Little Feat were one of the support acts & they played a brilliant set (complete with inflatable dancing cacti either side of the stage :) ) & the fact that an almost mandatory for Glasgow mass punch-up broke out mid set didn't distract me at all from a great performance.
Anyway, that got me thinking about the other support bands that day, one of whom are below & were the opening act of the day. Formed by the wonderfully named Ariel Bender from Mott The Hoople, they only lasted about 3 years before they all fell out - but they made some great music.
For anyone interested, the line-up was:
Widowmaker
Streetwalkers
The Outlaws
Little Feat
Sensational Alex Harvey Band
The Who

Sorry for all the off-topic stuff, but Cadlesons' post reminded me of a great day out. Which, incidentally, cost 4 pounds sterling for the ticket!
