I hate the organ. I love that Dave is back, but the backing-vocals/harmonies are kind of ugly sounding; I think they really need Anthony, both on bass and backing vocals. After hearing this, they is no way I'd run out and buy this disk. Lets hope the rest of the disk rocks a lot harder...I'd still take it over Chickenfoot though...I can't get into Sammy on vocals.

What I think of the song is that I think they went the wrong direction with the low backing vocals because it kind of makes them sound tired or old (not to say they aren't getting on in years though) but otherwise it sounds like Van Halen. Can't complain about that too much.

Sounds decent. I will undoubtedly pick up the album when released.

Michael Anthony's backing vocals are sorely missed for sure. They're not breaking any new ground with this like they did with (dare I say) Van Halen III. I thought that was fresh sounding and the songs were kind of progressive. I know I'm in the minority here but I liked Gary Cherone in the band. Still, I'm glad to see Roth back.

I will give it the ultimate test when it's finally released.

How many beers until I think it's the Greatest VH album ever recorded...:oyea:

Anthony will be missed, but I like Dave being back where he belongs. I think this will be a one and done thing though, then Eddie and Dave will be at each other's throats once more.;)

Ill get the album not expecting it to be like the classic stuff, I enjoyed the riffs on this song, the actual guitar work for mine is enjoyable but I dunno something feels off for me on it, probably as you all say the backing vocals.

Well, Roth sounded pretty good. Didn't enjoy the harmonies/chorus. Otherwise, it was just a generic rock song to me. Never expected Ain't Talkin Bout Love Pt. 2 or anything. Sucks not having Michael Anthony back but whatever.

I ****ing love it. The chorus has bounce, you can just imagine the sun setting over the hills at Knebworth, with 60,000 jumping to Tattoo at Sonisphere. I could die happy then.
