Just curious on what type #1 hit we listened to in 1977 and how the #1 hit of today stacks up against a hit from 40 years ago.

The hits I have chosen are what is #1 on the Billboard charts right now vs what was #1 on the charts the week ending April 8, 1977.

I'm going to be brutally honest......I don't like either one.

I do like 70's disco, but I never considered Dancing Queen a disco worthy song.


what surprises me, though, is how little the pop industry has actually changed. Still pumping out music to tweeners!
