Big Chicago fan and I have mentioned several times here how I saw them in 1969 at IU when they were still CTA when they wrote that track btw. Must have missed this poll..............

Beside Tower of Power and Three Dog Night, Chicago was a favorite band. I have so many of their albums from the first all the way up to Chicago XXXVIII

CTA for me too......never was a fan of TOP.

For fans of horns there was of course Blood Sweat and Tears and 2 excellent jazz rock bands... from England 'IF' , and 'Lighthouse' from Canada.

I voted for Chicago, but I also wondered why Blood Sweat And Tears wasn't included. Chicago always claimed BS&Ts was their main rival when it came to bands with horns. Chicago always said they were first. :dunno:

Being a Trombone Player in High School and College, my choice had to be Chicago.

In fact, I'd list James Pankow as in my Top 10 Rock heros in the 1970's. But behind Jimmy Page of course.
