Tommy Lee Plays Devil In New Fall Out Boy Video

Tommy Lee plays the role of the devil in Fall Out Boy's new video for "Death Valley."

The Motley Crue drummer stars in the clip, which is part of the band's video series called "The Young Blood Chronicles." Fall Out Boy have filmed a vid for each song on their latest offering, Save Rock And Roll.

"We know how the story ends and we have rough idea of what happens in between," bassist Pete Wentz explained. "Some of it will probably be made up, [we'll add] some wild animals and stuff getting lit on fire — you know, a basic guide to curing teenage suburban boredom."

Wentz also spoke on the inspiration FOB drew from Electroma, a short film released by Daft Punk. He says they responded to "the idea of the deceit within each of us that we have to uncover in the search for who we truly are."

All the videos included in Fall Out Boy's "The Young Blood Chronicles" can be viewed on YouTube.

I don't know anything about Fallout Boy, and doubt that this video will make any difference to me. I don't care for the part about setting animals on fire though, that might give some morons the idea to try it.:wtf: And really, curing boredom by lighting animals on fire,,,what kind of twisted idiot even fantasizes about that.:nw:

Don't care if it's a video or not, cruelty to animals is near the top of my pet peeve list.

As an alternative have Tommy Lee incinerate the band instead...that works for me.

I think he must mean adding wild animals & stuff getting lit on fire as separate things LG, not actually setting animals on fire. For a start Tommy Lee is big into animal rights so he'd never stand for it or would be kicking some Fallout Boy butts if they did put this kind of thing in the vid :D

^^I get that part Tray but still don't like the imagery period...not when some folks do get 'inspired' watching their favorite bands. It was that idiots comment about 'bored teenagers' that got my dander up, as if MMA and all the other insanity they watch for fun these days isn't graphic/stupid enough to keep them entertained.:nw:

I think the whole concept is lame.

Yeah the bored teenager comment was crass, I get the feeling this Wentz guy is a bit of an imbecile. Youngsters certainly don't need any encouragement, however slight, these days.
Wouldn't be surprised if wild animals such as wolves are thrown in to the vid to feature with the devil, that always annoys me to the hilt - further perpetuating the myth that wolves are vicious 'devilish' animals when in fact they are gentle, shy creatures. Ok, rant over, lol
