    I've seen Roy in a few interesting places over the years. Probably the best was in 1983, at Leicester Priory Folk Club. It was a tiny, tiny little venue. Despite extensive searching online, I've still never managed to date that gig!

    Marbles..28th March 1983...a small venue.
    Often went to Leicester. De Montfort Hall...especially.

    The setting up of this band was great..well polished and classic.

    On The Shore was re-released in a bumper format some years ago- a quality band here:
    Trees- Geordie.

    Fantastic. Ta!

    I was at the Poly at the time. Where we lived was directly opposite De Montfort, across Victoria Park. Upstairs flat with a balcony, which we could sit out on and sometimes listen to the bands playing at De Montfort.

    My first purchase of this band was the equally stunningly titled LP - The Unfortunate Cup Of Tea.
