I took my son to see The Wigges last month. He loved it.

Of the two I'd have to say the Wiggles but I'd opt for Backyardigans if I had a say. Maybe even Ditty Doodleworks.
Lucky for me my kid has great music sensibilities, some are completely outside of my influence. Lately he likes stuff from The Who, Queen, King Crimson, Apocalyptica.
At 3 his favorite was Stevie Wonder....I didn't ever think I had to watch what he listened to until he broke out singing "Too High! Too High!" in the post office. Luckily no one picked up on the song and what it was Stevie had meant when he wrote those words! Oops
