THE PRESETS

The Presets are an Australian electronic music duo, the members are Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes. They were formed in 2003 and have three studio albums to date, including their latest effort "Pacifica" which was only just released! The music they play is a smorgasbord of electronica, ranging from spacey and atmospheric to heavy beats and pounding rythyms. I first discovered them in 2008 with the release of "Apocalypso", and went to see them live in 2009, where they stole the show and got everyone in the crowd moving!

The Presets are now a widely renowned band in Australia, and they have won several ARIA awards and APRA awards, including becoming the first electronic act to win "Album Of The Year" for "Apocalypso".
