Yeah, that's some GREAT stuff right there. Man, to think that you are about to embark on a musical adventure that includes the discovery or Captain Beyond and Euclid...

Hold on my man, you're in for a ride of a lifetime!:grinthumb

Those are a couple of my absolute favorites.

That's what makes music so much fun, even though I've been collecting for almost 40 years, there are still undiscovered gems laying around waiting to be picked up, old and new.

Well, Head East deserves a mention because when you think of them all you can think of is "There's Never Been Any Reason", but truth be known, they had quite a following and a number of albums.

Obscure within the stream of classic rock history, but not really a "Hard Rock" band and not truly as low profile as most mentioned above.

Some of those in the above list shouldn't really be there because they are not nearly as obscure as others. Like Captain Beyond which is super well known these days and Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush whom are world class famous.

So the list is a bit confusing/disorganized and I do apologize for that.

Starman:

Those bands are obscure. Two that I recognize that I really like though are MC5 and Frijid Pink.

Here's another hard rock ensemble, which included Michael Bloomfield, that's beginning to be lost in the mists of time:

I have one of MC5's CD's.

Here's another obscure hard rock early metal band, "Sir Lord Baltimore", a concert review of one of their shows in the late 60's was the first documented use of the term, "Heavy Metal", to describe the bands music.

I have this CD in the library.
