Kevin Ayers, considered to be a founding member of British pysch folk and The Canterbury Scene.
Formed Soft Machine with Robert Wyatt and Co-worked with many many more. Andy Summers of The Police worked with him and cited him as "England's best musician" .
Sadly he passed in 2013.

Interesting character.....been a fan for a long time and have the first 6 lps...Joy of a Toy is my favorite....has a very trippy melancholy vibe.
Also have the Wilde FLowers compilation and the first Soft Machine of ccourse.
