Agreed.

Talking of Michael, was just reading this morning that a biopic of him, based on the biography written by his mother & sister, has been given the go ahead. Biopic of INXS frontman Michael Hutchence planned | Film | guardian.co.uk

I'm glad to hear about this movie, and it seems to be timed/connect with few INXS comment over the last year.
1. In 2011 Andrew Farriss said that the band had talked about doing a soundtrack.
2. October 2012, Tom Farriss said they were working on new material, and some of the unreleased tracks might be coming out in the near future.
3. Then then all of sudden announcement that they're stopping touring, but said that the music will continue.

This sounds like they might have a large involvement in the biopic, and could wind up working the the new actor in the Hutchence role. Similar to what Queen has been doing with Sacha Baron Cohen over the summer preparing him for the Freddie Mercury film.

It's rumored that the Mercury biopic will end with Queen at Live Aid. I hope they somewhat end the Hutchence film at the '91 Wimbley show.

Another fine band bows out.

INXS (with Hutchence) definitely qualify as one of those bands that I never saw live, but who I really REALLY wished that I had, and there aren't very many of those. So though I missed out on seeing Hutchence do his thing in person, that Live Baby Live DVD that EJD mentioned here, and that I have, is just pure bad ass! It's like going to a 101 class how to be a front man rock star, Hutchence was that good.... Wembley Stadium packed full, singing every word. Awesome. My favourite track from that set is definitely 'What you Need'...

My favorite from the Wimbley show is Suicide Blonde.

My only dissapointment is that they didn't perform their classic album cut Don't Change (personal favorite).

This would have been killer at a stadium show. Unless it was cut from the concert video.

PS: As a frontman, it looked like Hutchence gave Jagger & Mercury a run for their money. :)
