We will be seeing the Dukes of September in concert this fall.

Michael McDonald, Donald Fagan and Boz Scaggs! Is anyone else here going to be attending one of these shows? I'm really looking forward to it.

Holy Crap!...what a great show!...awesome backing band, excellent set list, great seats, pristine sound...outstanding!
Everybody was in good voice, especially Boz Scaggs. I can't reconstruct the whole setlist but here's some of the stuff they played -

Lowdown ( maybe the highlight of the evening)

Takin' It To The Streets ( also a real highlight)

Tell The Truth ( Ray Charles cover)
Love TKO ( Teddy Pendergrass cover)
Piece Of My Heart ( Erma Franklin version)
I Heard It Through the Grapevine ( Gladys Knight version)

there's several other tunes I'm forgetting.

The last two songs of the night were Thank You Falettinme ( Sly and the Family Stone) and Them Changes ( Buddy Miles).

Two thumbs up! Everybody should see this show.

Also, they played Hey Nineteen ( Steely Dan) and a SMOKIN" version of Who's That Lady ( Isley brothers). There was also a Muddy Waters cover and a Chuck Berry cover that I don't know the names of.

The three of them have enough music to play for 3 hours! Covering all this other great stuff, too bad they can't just have a 4 or 5 hour long show! We are really looking forward to this one! Thanks
