I think the Moody Blues new sound of 1967 was strongly influenced by the Association.

Never My Love was my favorite, closely followed by this song:

Maybe that is why I love the Moody Blues so much. I actually really love the sounds of both bands. I think the Moody Blues achieved more overall success not saying The Association didn't.
