Crime of the Century is a great album containing as it does, School, Rudy, Dreamer and others. I love ELO and The Move, but I cannot think of a great ELO album, except perhaps the first one.

This is a very tough decision, I really like both albums as well as both bands. But I think I'm gonna give my vote to ....ELO - A New World Record, just barely though.

a great matchup. difficult for me. even though my brother had turned me onto earlier ELO, a new world record is when i really lost it. i bought it when it came out and played it into dust.

supertramp didn't get that treatment til breakfast in america. i knew a few scattered songs before that... and it was a blast to see all these long-haired cajun guys runnin around singin right, right, yer bloody well right. mwhaha. but i came into the full crime of the century experience rather late.

... oh, and 'hide in yer shell' is one of my fave songs by anybody.

ah. well. ELO gets it, for being so close to my formative heart. if we're being honest, though... i probably play supertramp more often these days. (that live in paris thingie is great. ya ya.)
