Okay, it may have been the summer of '65 or '66 or '68 BUT...somewhere in there.
It t'were a peace protest song with the lyrics
"From official sources
directives have come
send out the marshals
round up everyone
who's worshiping god
instead of the state
who's teaching that love
is better than hate
chorus
I'm going to prison
for what I believe
I going to prison
so I can be free
There's something I'll die for
what else can they do
I've got something to live for
what about you"
.
It just bugs moi that NO ONE...EVER.....@ ANY board, even or oddly, remembers this tune.
T'were moi in a parallel universe :cheers2
BTW I DO NOT advocate following the lyrics I ANY shape, way and/or form.
SOGS,
Tor
