Sonic Syndicate is a melodeath/metalcore/rock band from Sweden. They originally started as Tunes of Silence, a power metal band, with a different line-up, besides brothers Roger and Robin Sjunnesson did some recruiting after Tunes of Silence broke up. They started with the name Fallen Angels before changing it to Sonic Syndicate.

They only toured in Sweden until they entered a contest held by record label, Nuclear Blast, in which they won and signed on to the label and toured both Europe and America.

Their earlier work was better than their newer material, imo. Eden Fire is their best album. They have since gotten more rock and it wasn't that bad but I didn't really like it as much.

Their newest album, We Rule the Night, will be released on July 30th, 2010.

I added this to the rock section since their newer sound is rock.
