One of the most impressive Bass players I have found is John Taylor from Duran Duran. His style or should I say his "FREESTYLE" Bass playing really adds alot to thier songs.

Davie 504 Is probably the Bass player on You Tube who do so much with a Bass. But when he talks he's kinda like Sly Stone..
He can take a $100 Bass against a $10.000 Bass and pretty much play both so you think they both sound just as good.
