With ALOT of thought I gave it to the Pistols based on God Save The Queen and Anarchy in the U.K. but I do LIKE the Clash and think they are a terrific band...The Clash's debut is great as is London Calling.

I think the Sex Pistols should have made more music than they did...and I understand how odd it is for some people that they would get any votes at all based on one album.

However if it was Ramones/ Pistols my vote would be VERY different. To me The Ramones invented Punk Music and nobody can take that away from Johnny, Joey, Dee Dee and Tommy back in the 70's when they started it all.

Now no one can change anyone's mind whether or not they like the Pistols music , and really why try? BUT...I disagree with any statement that they couldn't play or be a good tight band.

The Sex Pistols have been described as the Monkees of Punk. And they were put together by Malcolm McLaren just for a certain look so I tend to agree with the label.
