I missed George the last couple of times so I'll take that one. However a Saxon gig on the doorstep is a nice option.

George plays here quite often so catching him wouldn't be nearly as hard as Biff and the lads for me...I don't even know the last time Saxon played over here.

Is ok over hear as is smaller than where you live LG so a lot of bands will do five or 6 dates over hear yearly so we get a great choice, Saxon do quite a lot of shows and festivals as they are realatively local band

Saxon never tour here anymore

Though I can't say I blame them what w/ the small little clubs they would be playing. Clubs make for excellent shows though. Just saw UFO in a shoe box and it was amazing.

I agree it tends to be better in a small club more intimate and in someways a better sound, you can also get closer to the action

I do love Lionheart, the opeber Witchfinder General is a belter, I remember they started with that once and it blew me away, went and purchased the CD the next day
