Rolling Stones radio has gone to hell!!

I used to listen to Stones radio often... but lately when I tune in I do hear Stones but they have started playing stuff like Janis Joplin,James Brown etc.... WTF do they do this? Some Beatles online channels also do this,

When I listen to ROLLING STONES radio it's cos I want to listen to THE ROLLING STONES.....arghhhhhhhh!!!

Yeah alot of stations that do this is cause it's licensing issues or whatever. Those songza stations play all kinds of stuff on your stations if you're logged in listening to it. I have to listen to any station I create logged out.

But yeah, it's a licensing thing and promotion thing.

Do they at least do it under the guise of an "influences and peers" kind of thing? I know that some of the Beatles stations say that they play artists that influenced the band and cover versions of their songs by other artists. A Dylan station I listen to sometimes bills itself as playing nothing but songs "written by Dylan". I guess that way they can play other artists without complaints.
