Rock stars on postage stamps

Reading the Rory Gallagher thread prompted me to think of a number of things and among them was his postage stamp, issued as a tribute. I am not a stamp collector, but I like them as little pieces of art, along with first day covers. There are a number of stamps issued to commemorate rock stars or albums.

This is Rory's miniature sheet. It is a pity the design has him in a green shirt, rather than his trademark red check, but there are worse tributes to him imho:

Georgians wouldn't thank me for describing them as Russians then, would they?

I liked the Sierra Leone stamps too. Ritchie Blackmore is the last person I would expect on one of their stamps.
