That is the popular consensus among rock fans. The one that closely follows that is that country music sucks and I'm much more in that ballpark so let's just call it even. :D

Just so you dont mention names, you can hate on the country all ya want.

But I just love country, myself. I love the stories, the atmosphere, the hats, the boots, the rodeo, line dancing, hog roasts, truck/tractor pulls, nascar, demolition derby, hell I love it all!!!

My favorite group...Rascall Flatts :)

You wouldn't know by looking at my house (as it's interior is mostly decorated with sailboats....for-some-reason) but I live with ALL of that and I find it awful.

My favorite group...Rascall Flatts :)

Yeah...my mom likes them too. Also Travis Tritt and Reba and I will say that I'm kind of ok with Reba.

Though just so we stay on topic a little more hear: the day a country artist (with the exception of Johnny Cash) makes it in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is the day that I lose faith in it as a credible hall of fame for rock and roll.

Because the board in charge of it "felt the needed a hip-hop group". ;)

Believe me, I like Run D.M.C. but I'm not thrilled about them being in there myself.

I am hoping that entire genre goes extinct in my lifetime Cosmic...:lmao:

But if they are established beyond any doubt, then they should have a HOF of their own.

I the only way I see it dying out LG is if some plague run rampant around the world where the virus enters through the buttocks but it unable to permeate denim.

Get it?

It's a joke about how kids these days need to pull their damn pants up!

I got it Cosmic.:heheh:

It is on the way down though, it is not nearly as popular now as it was five years ago, so old dinosaurs like myself still have hope that it will fade into the background almost completely in my lifetime.:grinthumb

Well...maybe in the Frozen Tundra it is but here in Ohio it's as strong as ever. Which is TOTALLY logically what with it being a genre of music most commonly associated with inner city ethnicities and Ohio being over 85% white and primarily farmland.
