{Resolved} New here with a question

Is there a delay on things? I added a profile pic but it's not showing. I also sent a private message but it's not showing in the sent file.
Is this just a time issue? I don't want to double send a message but not sure if it got sent.

For the profile picture issue. You must mean your avatar. Go to your User CP and click Edit Avatar, upload it, and it will show.

As for the PM issue. If you want to see your sent messages, go to User CP, click on Edit Options, scroll down, and check the box "keep a copy of sent messages" or something like that.

Sorry, yes, av. I uploaded the av and see it in User CP but it doesn't show on posts.
Maybe I have to have a certain number of posts first?
I looked in the sent messages folder and it says 0 even though I sent a message successfully before then. Even reloaded/refreshed page.

You uploaded the picture in "Edit Profile Picture" section, should be in "Edit Avatar."
When is comes to private messages you need to tick a box "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default." You can find it in Edit Option section (Control Panel).

Ember click on User CP, then Edit Options. Scroll down to Thread Display Options and check the boxes there to Show Signatures and Show Avatars. That should do it.

Nope...still odd. Show Avatar and Show signature were/are checked.

Aha! found it. I had to click "Use custom av" when I uploaded. It uploaded and showed in the user cp but didn't show on the posts until I re-uploaded the pic with that marked.
