German instrumental symphonic prog metal band Relocator has gone through numerous personnel changes in the last five years and finally released thier s/t debut in 2010 with special guest keyboardist Derek Sherinan from Dream Theater and Planet X.
Not quite as metal as Liquid Tension Experiment but more inspired and intricate than Sherinan's other band, Planet X. Brushes of jazz fusion without being over the top/bombastic and being over produced. Very well done. "The Alchemist" is also included and was first released on the Mike Portnoy tribute album, Honour Thy Drummer.
