yes haha, boomtown rats are a 77 punk band kinda thing, good ole 70s punk rock, but its mostly fun but still angry, I see a lot of similarities to offspring, and GBH is a bit heavier, they are an 80s band, but not hardcore like black flag and that whole scene, once again many similarities to social distortion

I'm with Robert Plant with respect to XYZ. I think Yes was the very embodiment of the excesses of rock against which punk rockers rebelled. Led Zeppelin was at its best in the early days when the band performed relatively straightforward blues rock and I can't see that meshing well with the art rock for which Yes was known.
