^^^ Also E.J.'s "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart" with Kiki Dee. Both songs got a lot of airplay in '76.

Upper Michigan didn’t have any rock stations. We had WDBC AM 680. It was one of those stations that covered everything from polkas to the Rat Pack. Then there was Billy Johns Big Beat, Monday through Friday from 7-9PM, unless the Tigers were playing.

Jaycee's Jukebox was my regular Saturday morning listen-in..big fry up..plenty of Typhoo Tea and these:
Buddy Holly - Rave On!

Had to be on the ball, at 1.54 seconds..the 7" ruled supreme.
Lord Rockingham's XI - Hoots Mon.

Pre Alvin Stardust here..one of a few acts to change their name a few times( Cat Stevens inc..)
Shane Fenton - Cindy's Birthday.

Marty Wilde and this geezer never failed to get me move a little more than tapping toes.
Billy Fury - Wonderous Place.

This was a Sun label '57 special..
Billy Riley - Flying Saucer Rock n Roll.
