Porcupine Tree-The Sky Moves Sideways

The early phase of Porcupine Tree was very Floydian influenced. With The Sky Moves Sideways, it is often compared to Wish You Were Here, musically and on a song structure level, especially the two title tracks. A beautiful blend of psychedelic rock, ambient experiments, and contemporary rock. Overall the album is chilled out and very atmospheric and from time to time fairly heavy. The 2 CD set is recommended and really the whole album must be heard to take advantage of the long trip. 9/10

Great album ,Joe. I like their early stuff best so far. People have been telling me to listen to them for years and I did hear a small bit probably ten years ago but just started really listening to them a couple months ago due to your suggestions.
